         It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 3rd International Gülhane Lactation and Breastfeeding Congress, convened with the aim of measuring scientific progress in the field of breastfeeding, sharing technological innovations, and collectively exploring evidence-based approaches to sustainable nutrition. Having become one of the most. Anticipated events in the field, our congress will be held in Antalya from 1 to 4 October 2026, during National  Breastfeeding Week, in full alignment with the theme designated annually by WABA (World Alliance for Breastfeeding  Action).

 Under the theme "Support Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Healthy Life", our congress aims to present current data on   the state of breastfeeding, and to demonstrate — through concrete, globally grounded evidence — the effectiveness of breastfeeding in combating malnutrition, food insecurity and poverty. In this regard, we aspire to serve as a true  catalyst for transformation in the field of breastfeeding by bringing science, counselling experience and digital  technology together on a single platform.

Lactation and breastfeeding constitute a fundamental human right. All healthcare professionals, midwives above all, must take action and collaborate to protect and advocate for this right. Our congress, grounded in interdisciplinary exchange and an integrated approach, continues to attract considerable attention both nationally and internationally. Grateful for this interest and the trust it reflects, we look forward to welcoming you at our third gathering with the same enthusiasm and determination.
